1895.00 NEW LISTING This is ONE OF THE FINEST MUESUM QUALITY CAMEOS I HAVE EVER SEEN OF THE HOLY FAMILY.From my own personal collection.Here you have Mary and Joseph and Jesus and ?The cameo is French and what they call a East-West cameo.The setting is all hand chased and 9 ct gold.Retains its c and t pin and has a gold safety chain.This is a huge cameo at 21/9 by 2 3/4.It is signed on the back.As you can see there are 3 little pits on Jesus just natural part of the shell.It would be very easy to fill the holes with something white and you would never no they were there.This is shows how old and precious the shells were when this was carved.They used every one they could get.The age is from around 1830 -Georgian.What a great Christmas cameo.You will never see another.CLICK.CLICKCLICKCLICK |

1595.00 NEW LISTING This is an EXTREMELY FINE AND RARE DANCE OF THE HOURS CAMEO.I have had this in my own collection for 10 years.The setting is 14kt gold.The cameo was carved in Italy and set in the Uk.It hallmarks on it lion, lion head 375 and B and AK.IT is 21/4".has a tiny loop top center for an o ring or safety chain.This was done in the 40's.It is dark sardonyx shell.I have seen a few examples of this theme but this is the best carved one I have seen.The girls are in high relief.There is one natural lines seen when held to light from back only.There is Eros,Hera,Psyche and muses.CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK |

1295.00 RARE AND HARD TO FIND EUROPA AND THE BULL CAMEO.Very rare sugject.The story is that Europa went tot he beach with friends.Zeus saw her and fell in love with her so he disquised himself as a beautiful bull.She got on his back and he took off into the sea.She had 4 children by himThere is even a cherub on the front for love..The camei is in gold and the size is 2".Has a tiny loop top center for safety chain.There is one light line on the front looks like a scratch but when looped it is a natural color line in shell.The cameo is basically line free.Fine detail.Much nicer in person.High relief.From around 1920.CLICKCLICKCLICK |

1095.00 This is a PAIR OF PINK CONCH CERES CAMEOS.Ceres also Demeter is the Roman Goddess who protects the corn.Thus the birds and the corn flax..The large pin may be Georgian.The setting is silver.Retains its c and t pin.Wonderful carving of 2 birds hanging down and flax in her hair.There is just a small tiny of the pink.It looks like angel skin coral but I am 95% sure it is conch.The carving is museum quality.XXX Rare I have never seen another.There is a tiny loop on the bottom .The size is 13/4 by 1 1/8.Stands up 1/2"Much nicer in person.You will not be disappointed. 825.00 A handsome mid 19th century (around 1840) antique hand carved natural shell cameo, carved in relief to depict a classical scene of a bare breasted, kneeling muse holding a looking glass, the Genius of Life holding the torch of Life kneels by her side. The interesting carving with unusual scene has minimum wear only - few stress lines that do not break the surface visible when backlite.The cameo is mounted into a highly ornate Pinchbeck frame that has tubular swags and globe decoration - complete and in very good condition.
